CBRE Global Investors acquire Brighton foodstore
Acting on behalf of a Malaysian institution, CBRE Global Investors have acquired the Sainsbury’s foodstore at Lewes Road, Brighton for £30 million.
The 66,000 sq ft store is arranged over four levels with 216 car parking spaces and has a passing rent based on £22.00 psf. The property is located on Lewes Road in the ‘student corridor’ to the north east of Brighton town centre.
The property was built by Sainsbury’s in 1985 and was originally acquired by British Land in 1991 as part of a portfolio of sale & leasebacks.
